Lions Clubs International works to alleviate hunger and malnutrition through initiatives such as food drives, community gardens, and support for local food banks.
Clubs, Zones and Regions have done very well in the past and we hope that to do better than our present support.
In line with the 2nd global sustainable development goals to eradicate hunger, our District 404 A1 pledges to ensure that clubs continue to provide for the seriously underprivileged in our communities.
Lions Clubs International has a program dedicated to relieving hunger and malnutrition in communities around the world.
The Hunger program is one of the most active program of Lions Club, it’s a way for the club to have a direct impact on the community and help those who are struggling with food insecurity.
The program focuses on providing food and support to those in need, with an emphasis on long-term sustainable solutions.
Apart from providing food for the needy, the District educates the public about the causes and consequences of hunger and malnutrition, and promote sustainable solutions.
